Anejo Tequila
The drink on repeat for us this summer has been anejo. Anejo is a type of tequila that has been aged from one to three years (in Spanish anejo literally translates to “aged”). Anejo is not made for shooting, but rather for enjoying. Its smooth flavor makes it best known to be the most sippable type of tequila. Poured over ice with a squeeze of lime, its robust flavors will conjure up analogies to fine bourbon or cognac. Also, the agave in tequila is a form of sugar that is known to be healthier, and will not spike your blood sugar like other cocktails you may be ordering. Give it a try! We know it will not disappoint.
